A fully modeled representation of a Besson cornet from the 1000 series. The project has been used for various illustration purposes such as posters.

The model is build solely in DS SolidWorks and thus created a bit of a challenge modeling the details of the instrument. For example, the bell has double curved surfaces and is on an angle. The pipes and tubes need to align in such a way, that the overall proportions match with their    real-life counterparts. The majority of the work, however, lied in the modeling of the fine details. The model includes springs, valves, and various ornaments.
